Photography has always been an important part of my life - something I learned from my father. He began with slides, then photos, and eventually digital images. I started with a Kodak Instamatic, then in high school traded a black and white enlarger for a Nikkormat camera and lens, eventually moving through the digital cameras up to the Canon Rebel Xti I use for most shots. However, a year ago, I picked up a Canon Powershot, an itsy-bitsy camera with almost as much power as my big one. Nothing like having it in my pocket for those just-in-case opportunities.
